Patricia Byrd is owner of Pat Byrd Productions, LLC and the only daughter of Henry Roeland (“Roy”) Byrd, a/k/a Professor Longhair who is also referred to by his adoring fans simply as “Fess.” With her Room of Memories and T-shirts, Pat Byrd promotes Professor Longhair, the man and her father, and the transcendent world-famous piano player, Father of Rock and Roll and Rock & Roll Hall of  Famer and Grammy award winner. Allen Toussaint, one of Fess’s many disciples that included Fats Domino, James Booker and Dr. John, referred to Fess as the “Bach of Rock.”
